Meeting Mocha

Well I tried to draw our little bunny from life... but all I ended up with was leg cramp and half a dozen half finished sketches!

Instead I drew a picture from one of the photos I took.  He was still in the photo of course ;)

Drawing a black bunny on black paper is somewhat challenging, so I did my best to show the kind of white underfur that shows through.

Mocha has brown and grey/white underfur, which was quite visible in the right light!

Hopefully I'll get some more pictures of him soon!

  1. Hes very cute and you've caught him in motion!

  2. cute bunny and those peaches sure do look delicious...

  3. This black rabbit on black paper is great! Very nice drawing. Your children must be very happy to have Mocha!

  4. HI. I popped over to your blog from the LatinClassicalEd yahoo group. I love your drawings! I enjoyed scrolling through them.

  5. Love the bunny! Your blog is just delightful and inspiring!

I gave you an award on my blog. Don't feel you have to participate unless you want to :)

  6. I'll have to send my granddaughter a link to this post. She has a black and white bunny and her mother has a brownish one and a white one. They just LOVE bunnies and I think they will love your drawing and getting to "meet" mocha.

  7. Thanks for stopping by my blog....back here looking.
