With the return of warmer weather, I went back outside into the garden to sketch :) Todays everyday in May offerings are the result-

a surprise potato flower (beautiful), gifts of catmint from the kids and a flower in the wrong place :)

This one is known as Venus' Looking Glass :) (
Specularia perfoliata)
How beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI once accidentally planted potatoes in our compost pile. They were so lovely I tried to grow them on purpose the following year, but I didn't have any luck. Maybe it's time to try again. :o)
I have been enjoying your nature drawings immensely. And thanks for your comments on my Flickr account!
Peace and Laughter,
Cristina
Potatoes are fairly easy- if you get them in at the right time :)
ReplyDeleteOurs are always table left-overs. I know those aren't the best, but it is a great way to recycle :)
Thanks for the compliments!
